Changing Filter

Why do I need an oil change?

Oil viscosity changes over time, typically decreasing as it age. Overtime it becomes less effective at lubricating due to factors like oxidation, contamination, and additive breakdown; this is why regular oil changes are necessary to maintain proper lubrication in an engine.

How often do I need to get an oil change?

There is no correct answer to it as it may vary through personal opinion, manufacturer recommendation and the grade of oil used.

However, VIKSTOP focus on providing top class oil change service using recommended grade quality by the manufacturer and we always recommend oil change for every 6000 miles or within a year which ever comes first.
